Yeah but it sucks that they are sitting in my seat…

I have to admit that I volunteer my husband to be prayer lector on Christmas morning, then we invite other “regulars” to sit in the reserved pew with us when their normal seats are taken by those who come only once or twice a year. It’s like getting to sit with our “family”, since we don’t have children, my parents aren’t Catholic and his parents are super-involved at their own parish.

But in the end, I’d still rather have them come than not come. After all, if they are there in front of Jesus, the Holy Spirit might just draw them back…

This is true. I was drawn back after an Easter experience.
