Here’s a fun and joyfully intended prayer intention for all.

I would like to be a fisher of men… 🙂 and who wouldn’t?

So let’s all pray for fellowship… in one accord, as they say in Acts…

Lots and lots and lots of new and good friends never hurt anyone… one can never have too much of a good thing!

🙂

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Prayed for your intention in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Go, and may you be able to fish thousands of men, for GOD’s greater glory!

GOD bless!

Thank you both so much for responding!

As I pray for all, I pray for you as you do for me!

C’mon Everyone…

Can’t we can do better than just three cheers for fellowship?

Is there no charity left? No selfless joy left in the church that we can’t even show a simple internet prayer petition a little love by clicking a heart or passing a good word?

What are we here for then?

It’s not that hard, is it?

😀

Lyrics written by St Francis of Assisi himself…

Those Mormons sure do know how to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Why can’t we the Catholic crowd do the same?

Raise your voice, please… 😀

Thank you Wm777

I will remember your intentions during my weekly hour at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel this Thursday.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Dear William,

May the Holy Spirit fill us with His Grace, to hear Jesus as Mary our Mother listened to His every word and all He did, pondering all in her heart. Our Fellowship needs to be In Jesus through Mary.

WE cannot give ourselves Grace, but we can and need to ask for all the graces we need to hear God’s Truth and to do the Truth we hear. Today on this Saturday, let us especially pray for that holy Fellowship John the Beloved Disciple wrote about in His First Letter. It was John who stood with Mary beneath the cross of Jesus. It was John who heard Jesus say: “Behold your Mother” and John obeyed taking Mary into his Life.

I believe the disciples could “see” by faith, Mary’s perfect model for the Church. We need to listen by God’s Grace to what God reveals through Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium if we are to have the Mind and Heart of Christ. May God grant us all the graces we need as we continue to ask humbly with faith and confidence in Him as all the saints have done.

Thanks for your encouragement to pray! For prayer is, as St. John Vianney said, nothing other than union with God. Come, Holy Spirit fill the hearts of Your Faithful; kindle in us the Fire of Your Love. You were sent by the Father and Son to bring us into all Truth, open the ears of our hearts to hear and do the Truth You bring. Jesus, we trust in You! Mary, Mother and Model for the Church, pray for us.

I appreciate your post! Been a rough morning and it made me smile 😊

I said a prayer for you. Have a blessed day 😃

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
