After the long excursus by Planter, I hope someone will tackle
the question which had been proposed:
:

“Why had the Catholic Church not been understanding that Bible which she would deliver to the reformers - which in a protestant view is perspicuous - for more than a millennium ?”

.

I thank God for placing me in the Catholic Church who brought about the HOLY BIBLE and instilled in me the faith I have today. The Catholic Church understands the Holy Bible they are the ones who created and put together all Holy Scriptures into a book that is called The Holy Bible. So why would you say they do not understand its truth? It is a great Blessing and Gift of God’s Grace to the world accomplished through the faithful works of the Catholic Church.

May God’s Blessings and His Grace be with the Catholic Church always!

Jesus said: put your trust in the Lord thy God with your whole heart, whole soul, whole mind, whole strength and yes even you body. I ask you since you seem to be all knowing is it a sin to put all our trust in God? God has since the beginning a great plan of salvation. All should pray for all whom God has elected.

I pray for all souls, but know also we are all mere mortals. Human beings whom God our Holy Father loves dearly. If the church was perfect and with out blemish and the fullness of all truth, it could have reconciled us all to God, don’t you think. But God could not find one, not one upon the earth. If that was the case God would not have needed to send his dearly beloved son, Jesus. Jesus was sent and suffered the worst agony of death on the cross for all our sins. A debt, that no one could ever pay for the price was to high.

And God said: Jesus Christ would be HIGH PRIEST over his Church for ever. Are you saying God is a Liar?

Jesus did not suffer in vain. Not that I do not trust the Church, but we all need to pray, love and serve each other. I forgive the Church, the priest who molested children, for many, many years, which did not come out until some brave soul came forward. The mature adults now are in the thousands. Are you saying the Church did not know this for many, many years. Those who first went to their parishes and wrote to the higher ups, denied them, causing much more pain, suffering which lead to more children being molested, much sufferings.
For we are all mere mortals. Remember only God knows all things.I love my Church and my enemies very much and pray for all for all are in need of God’s infinite mercies including greatly myself.

I am not judging anyone for only God is our judge. And I am not saying all priest or who ever. But Jesus said: You said not to steal, but you steal, you say not to lie but you lie.

Yes, we are to be obedient to the choosen elect, but God has also said, like the apostles test the spirit. What I am saying that we are all mere mortals and in need of much, much prayer also for our Catholic Church and our Shepherds, the church family of God as a whole for the building up of God’s Kingdom.

I do not reject, but accept with trembling hands, in humilty and humbleness God’s grace and infinite mercy of his Beloved son, our Lord Jesus Christ in the forgiveness of my sins, his infinite mercy for Jesus did not suffer in vain. His grace given to all…it is finished once and for all. There is more but that is all I have to say.

God Blessings and his grace be with all for the building up of his Church.
Ah!! I see you have issues with the Church. Maybe personally. This is a topic for a separate thread if you wish to pursue it.

Our OP wants to return to his original questions which although I answered him, he still wants Protestants to answer.
