You must have a very large computer…😃

Church documents are available here

Why do you want to download them? You can just bookmark the linked site…

Peace
James

Thank-you very much for your reply. At the seminary I go to, the minor seminarians do not have access to internet. So I try to get as many reference files on my USB so that I view them there. I might consider getting a whole bunch of HTML files from vatican.va, but I prefer not to since it can be clunky. Oh by the way, I have the whole English Wikipedia on my USB if you want to link to that.

Merry Christmas.

PapalEncyclicals.net has some of the older encyclicals and other documents. But there is no “download all” options.

Have you considered getting some type of Catholic software? Logos Bible Software recently rebranded their Catholic packages as Verbum. It’s not free, but it makes all the documents much easier to cross-reference.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like offering a freebie until December 31stis. You get the documents of Vatican II and Verbum Domini. It’s not a lot but it’s a start.

There’s a lot of hi-tech stuff out there, but I can’t really afford them right now. Thanks very much.

I like to print them to PDF on the EWTN site. I can highlight and add text boxes or comment bubbles in the full PDF software (not the free reader version).

Printing to PDF from the Vatican.va website means taking out objects (parchment icons) to make it more plain text. EWTN doesn’t have the extra graphics objects.

Thanks. I just downloaded the whole vatican.va with everything (except live broadcasting, of course) using a website downloader. I was about 10 gigs. Not too bad.

You can get them free here – download biblia clerus @ clerus.org
FREE hyperlinked Catechism, Magesterial documents, Writings of Saints, and
NAB/RSV bibles. 👍

It really is free.
From Fr. A. Bouchez who wrote the program: from his ictuswin site:
Biblia Clerus free download

Biblia Clerus is a slightly redacted at the French texts CD Ictus Win, issued under the responsibility of the version Congregation for the Clergy . By cons, it contains more texts in other languages (Spanish, Italian, English …). The Vatican diffuse this free program.

On the site of the Congregation for the Clergy you can download a full version of Biblia Clerus . His first recipients are priests who will be able to have on hand a complete library, to prepare their sermons and teachings. But faithful Catholic, or curious man will also benefit! This is the Ictus 3 complete engine in its latest version, with most of the textual basis of the CD Ictus. However, some Protestant Bible versions are missing, and ADIC can undertake technical service Biblia Clerus. By cons, this version is freely downloadable in a full version and free. Feel free to pass around the new you, to widely disseminate the wealth of the Gospel: Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium!
