Ours is open most of the day because either one of the priests, the music director, or someone from the adjoining middle school is always going in or out. Rarely is the church empty. But, they leave a side door open, not the front doors. It looks like it’s part of the school so a lot of people don’t know it leads into the church. Of course at night they lock it up after everyone leaves, usually around 10 unless something is going on late. (they have nocturnal adoration till midnight sometimes.)
It’d be nice if we could leave it open all the time, but unfortunately in this day and age…I kind of like puzzleannie’s idea about the security though.
