In the middle of the beautiful Lake Bled, Slovenia, there stands a church known as the Church of the Assumption of Mary, of which it is said that if you ring the Church bell three times then your wish will come true.
- First, is this church Catholic? Is it still active?
- Here http://www.bbc.com/travel/story/20170103-the-island-paradise-with-a-magic-bell it is said that the above statement about the bell —which sounds to me more like a superstition— was a decree made by Pope Clement VII. Is that true? As a Catholic, should we believe this?
