Hello,

I have a boyfriend is who is a protestant, although he was baptized a catholic. I just came back from mass today and and I learned from him that he did not attend his church service today. He has not gone to his church for months. I’m still praying for the Holy Spirit to guide me so I can evangelize/convert my boyfriend back to practise Catholicsm. He remains unconvinced, but why did he stop being active in his Church? His reasoning is …“he is busy”. And I am confused…

I know some baptists say that as long as a person has a personal relationship w/ God, it is okay for him or her not to go to attend church. As long as that person believes. Is this the belief of some Baptists?
