With all in the news, hearing more about Living Will and Power of Attorney. What is the church’s position on:
  1. Living Will-Document you sign that states that you do not want your physician to use death delaying procedures if you develop a terminal condition (death delaying procedures like assisted ventilation, artificial kidney treatments, medication, blood transfusions, and tube feeding.
  2. Health Care Power of Attorney-the document you sign that names another person to make health care decisions for you if you are unable to do so.
I am reviewing this, but only want to fill one out in the way that is advised by my faith.

I have put a post there (#11) giving you a link taking you to the Catholic Bio Medical page. When you get there they will explain for non medical professionals the latest papal statement (2004) and precisely what it entails. When you get to the page, simply click on the Papal statement link and it opens up to the explanation.
