My current level of revelation in my catholic faith is teaching me that my life and heart has a special place that only Christ can fill. With this revelation, doesn’t mean life is problem free… similar to physical health, one can catch a cold or get injured…even while doing good things, pursuing Christ…even other fellow sharers of Catholic faith can be decieved in differing levels…and to some degree I am currently decieved in my limited participations…

Point being…I think there is just a learning curve to life no matter what… And humility is a guide icy… But my ego can crop up and do things which if gone unchecked manifest in various disorders… I wouldn’t call it mental illness per se… I’m just not a big fan of talking from a place as if I have Authority or that I know… am I experience of other people who speak from such places of thinking they know… No matter how well founded their conclusions maybe and legitimate… It seems to be that that line of thinking can lead one into a large deception and potential mental illness versus just choosing to side on humility

Because of her great sanctity, St. Teresa of Ávila had horrifying encounters with the devil.

Surprisingly, in Divine Locutions, Chapter 25, she wrote:
“I am really much more afraid of those people who have
so great a fear of the devil, than I am of the devil himself.
Satan can do me no harm whatever, but they can trouble
me very much, particularly if they be confessors.”

St. Thérèse of Lisieux wrote in “Story of a Soul:”
“A soul in a state of grace has nothing to fear
of demons, who are cowards.”

Thank you. I truly guess you may also been reading my other posts around this topic?🙂 . The saints really have a point. As I catchecize further…I’m totally cool admitting that my concern is really learning to love God, understand how I’m loved by God, stay steady in that love regardless…

What that looks like, for me, is not being shaken lose from God’s grace , even as I interact in my business, goals, and relational dynamics

@Mhkc

I was responding to the recent post. In fact, I was agreeing with your ideas, and adding to them with the words of these great saints. Mainly, I was expanding on the general theme of the thread.

I’m sorry for any confusion. God bless you.
