I worry sometimes when I have licked my lips and got some salty sweat taste in my mouth.
Or when I accidentally swallow a gnat or something like that, outside.
I try to not lick my lips sometimes before mass…
Do othe rpeople do that too or do you think this is clearly exaggerated?

Yes, Kathrin, this is another instance of your scrupulosity coming into play. I know from personal experience how stressful this can be and how difficult it is to overcome. If you have not already done so, I strongly urge you to seek the assistance of of a priest, in or out of the confessional, to deal with this.
