I need some help. I need a summary and/or study guide of St. Augustine’s City of God. I need it for my philosophy of history class. Please let it be a web link to a web document or website and not a physical copy, because I don’t want to spend my money online lest they track my credit card down. Also let it be a Catholic source. I have found one but I’m not sure if it’s from a Catholic source, a Protestant one or an ecumenical one.
CW - I can’t give you a link for a guide. BUT, maybe some, um, call it advice?
I’m not sure where you live, but there might be a seminary or Catholic university nearby. Check out their libraries.
I was fortunate that there was a monastery in a nearby city. I spent many an afternoon browsing the books, looking up different subjects, reading journals, sleeping on the couch…
Just another resource. More than likely to be Catholic.
