Claustral Externs

[Cloisters]

Older vocations are often accepted for the position of Claustral Extern. This means they are in the external quarters of the monastery, and assist visitors. The extern at the now-suppressed Carmel of Louisville, KY, also helped with the vestments and setting up for Mass.
