I’m one who likes a decently clean environment, clean clothes, shower a day, and what not. Can my preferrence for cleaness be sinful or wrong? I even look at others who aren’t so consistent with their personal hygiene as kinda unclean and try to keep my distance. I know not everyone has the ability to stay clean, but for some odd reason I don’t feel the same way towards people who are poor or not the ability to do so. Is it just for some reason I think that people should keep clean if they can, but if I know they can’t that then I don’t mind at all? Is there some reason for this? Sorry for many questions and not really coming off very clearly.

Nothing wrong with wanting to stay healthy (in fact, we are obligated to look after our health) - and part of what we need to do to stay healthy is to live in a clean environment. Sometimes that also means keeping our distance from people who aren’t so clean similarly to how we would keep our distance from someone who is sick and could infect us. Of course some people can be over obsessive about it but you don’t sound like you are.

It’s normal to feel less sympathetic for people who you think should be able to look after themselves. Thing is there could be plenty of reasons why people don’t keep as clean as you - the way they are brought up, their point of view on exactly how clean is clean, etc. So the thing would be to make sure you don’t treat people badly just because they don’t keep as clean as you when you think they should.
