Why do Threads get closed? Just wondering. Thanks
Unfortunately, some members do not read the rules when they sign up or choose not to abide by them.
Typical problems:
*] A poster starts identical threads in multiple forums
*] A poster posts the identical long-winded message multiple times in the same thread.
*] A poster focuses exclusively on his private agenda
*] A poster ratchets up his behavior after being asked privately to cool off.
In these cases, the threads are often closed (with an explanation by the moderator) and many of the repeated threads are just simply deleted.
In extreme cases the offending poster is suspended or banned. As much as we want to give members fairly wide latitude to discuss issues, management does not have time to baby sit those few who refuse to abide the rules.
Ir rules have been set, why do you feel that you do not need to follow them? Is this why you are having such a hard time accepting Catholic teachings on Homosexuality? I agree, you do deserve to be heard, but within the rules. Thanks to all who have posted to explain this to me.Threads get closed when ever anyone makes a point that is not popular or that is too contraversial. Instead of allowing a chance for open discussion, they would rather close and delete threads. it’s very childish. i am a CATHOLIC too and i deserve to be here and to ask questions and start discussions just as much as anyone else does!

Is this not a place to discuss and give advice and prayers who need them.GayCatholic -
You know as much as anyone that is NOT why threads are closed. Childish I think explains this post.
You are welcome here, yes, we will all welcome you as long as you, like everyone else, follows proper procedure. However, no one has a RIGHT to these forums.
