I’ve listened to bits and pieces of the show several times, and I think it’s hilarious. I don’t usually listen to the radio at night, but it happens. On a typical day, I don’t usually go to bed until very, very late (7am when I don’t have to be up in the morning, and 4am when I do have to get up in the morning). So sometimes, when I’m brushing my teeth, I’ll turn the radio on in the bathroom, or when I get into my car, it’s on before I pop in a CD.

So yeah, I haven’t ever listened to prolonged segments of the show, but what I’ve heard has always made me laugh. Just a few nights ago, people were calling up talking about how they were alien hybrids. tsk tsk.

The only time I have ever listened to the program was driving to the airport to catch early flights and then only for a couple of minutes. It sounds like some shows I have heard on the SW. Full of conspiracy theories. If I remember right, Art Bell broadcasts from the middle of the Nevada desert.

As for it being the “work of the devil”. I do not hink the devil would use something as bizzare and wacked as this show.

As I was getting ready to go out for my moring walk, the syndicated overnight radio program Coast to Coast AM was finishing up.
Just in a 5 minute period, I heard some things on there that really shocked me:
A talk about a reincarnation of a guy named Edward Casey.
A comment that stated (paraphrasing here) “a person who is empty inside will create a senario of a 'higher being.”
And that the movie The Day After Tomorrow is actually real!
The best part of the show was listening to the closing music.

I have heard the show on and off (mostly OFF) and other topics heard deal with many paranormal experiences, ghosts, remote viewing (I have no idea what that is but does it have to do with watching TV?) And of course alien life.
Art Bell and his protege George Nori are probably not aware what kind of unsuspecting occult trash they are participating in, BUT I heard that the ratings for such shows are rather high.
Has anyone else ever listen to this show and do you get the errie feeling that the devil is behind the entire show (guests, topics, callers)?

Go WITH God!

I wouldn’t say all that about Art Bell. He just brought people onto his show to argue thier cases for whatever they believe in. A Vatican priest Fr. Martin was a regular guest on his show for several years, in fact.

Coast to Coast brings out the ‘evil’ and gives them a venue to spew out hatred toward Christ and His Chruch.
(I am sure Coast to Coast had a field day with PJII passing and Benedict XVI, so far.)
Art Bell was an admirer of JPII, and even went to Rome on vacation to see him speak.

I really liked it when Art Bell hosted it. It was creepy in a B-movie kind of way. 😉
I have both versions of his biography ‘the art of talk’. I even called his show several times. I’m still a fan of his show today.

George Noory, who hosts the show during the week, is a Catholic but he also believes in reincarnation.

I love listening to the show just because it’s so funny. My favorite guest so far is the guy who claimed that all of the leaders of the world’s religions, including Jesus, were actually mushrooms.

Art hosts on the weekend, then?

True, they have many silly shows. But I enjoy many of the others. George Noorey is boring. I like art bell the best.
