Speaking of providing for your child, if you have not found someone to be his or her guardian if something happens to the two of you and if you have not gotten that in writing in your will, do that without delay. What your child does not need if something happens to either of you is a custody battle. Make sure it is very clear to both of your families what arrangements you two have arranged to have if you are robbed of your ability to care for your own child. It is rare for that to happen, but it is not rare when it happens for it to happen with no warning. (Accidents kill more people between 25 and 44 than cancer does.)

We will be meeting with the Deacon next week to start the marriage prep so I will find out from him how long the preparation will be.

Good luck.

For the record, I agree with Easterjoy and Ike.

If the Deacon still is presenting an 8 month way, make an appointment with the pastor.

God Bless
