Just a few comments…
Urinating after intercourse decreases the risk of UTI, because it flushes bacteria from the urethra. The physical act of intercourse massages bacteria (usually E. coli or Staph) into the urethra. Kegels, bearing down, and expelling seminal fluid (though semen is probably more accurate) are not standard recommendations for preventing UTIs. The Seminal Fluid Instruction taught in the Creighton Model includes voiding, which is the act that flushes the bacteria. BTW, DO NOT kegel while you urinate.
Cheddarsox is not alone in her rejection of this instruction. This is the Billings’ response to the seminal fluid instruction:
Because the SFI is a possible answer to the OP’s question, IMO it is important for him and his wife to be informed of objections to this instruction. Again, this is only my opinion.

.The instruction to the woman to expel seminal fluid, presumably because it is confusing or restrictive, is totally rejected by BOM, as unnatural, intrusive and divisive. The BOM observes and records nature as it is and the couples cooperate with the rules of these observations, and with each other, without unnatural
practices. Source.
