Here is a thread to post a collection of Church writings by Popes, Bishops, Saints, CDF documents and other writings or websites that are in line with what the Church has taught and continues to teach about homosexuality/sodomy.

First, I would like to post Fr.John Hardon’s terrific audio series on Catholic Morality and Homosexuality here…therealpresence.org/archives/MP3/RP0023000.htm

A clarification please. Are you trying to post church documents about homosexuality? (I see the audio series by a priest). Are you also including in that what the church teaches about a specific sexual practice that men, women, homosexual, and heterosexuals participate in? I’m not sure what you are posting here.
 
No this is strictly writings on homosexuality, sodomy, same sex attraction, etc. It can be Church documents, or even a blogger, or someone who is not Catholic. Just please make sure that their views are in line with Scripture, Magesterium, and T(traditions) of the Church.

You want people to discuss heterosexual sodomy practices? I don’t understand why you would want to do that. I don’t understand why you would want to discuss ANY sexual practices that are private between two people.

The intent of the post was stated in the original post; to share a collection of Church Writings in line with Catholic Church teachings on the subjects noted.

I find your thread title confusing. Many homosexuals do not indulge in sodomy; lesbians are an obvious example. Also some heterosexuals do indulge.

Is lesbianism a suitable topic for this thread? Is heterosexual sodomy a suitable topic? A clearer thread title might have been better.

Agree. I wonder if people believe that the word sodomy is descriptive of all male homosexual sexual practice, which of course is far from the truth. It is a word that should be put to rest; it is imprecise and contested theologically as well as legally.

In any case, I don’t think it really belongs here if indeed people want to discuss specific sexual acts.

I find that I have trouble taking lesbianism as seriously as male homosexuality 🤷

I didn’t think a discussion was proposed, rather a gathering of reference material. I could be wrong.

I should think all sexual actions of humans are private, and generally between 2 people. Are you saying sexual behaviour(s) is an inappropriate matter for discussion (notwithstanding the existence of moral teachings on the subject)?

I am not surprised no one can present Church writings by Popes, Bishops, Saints, CDF documents and
other writings or websites showing substantive reason or harmony with the Sacred Deposit of Faith to show
the mythical “homosexual person” is real.

The Catholic Bishops of Australia wrote an excellent booklet entitled: Don’t Mess With Marriage.

The gay activists hated it.

If you visit my group on this website named: Preventing SSM in Australia, you will find several other writings on the subject.
I am adding to the list constantly.
You will see a very well written piece published in the Sydney Daily Telegraph on my list.

I believe it good that your Bishops and the Church as a whole stand against SS “marriage”; the idea that the mythical
“homosexual person” is real was not addressed. I believe accepting the mythical “homosexual person” as real does not
serve those struggling with SSA or the Lord, I am confident the Lord will have the Magisterium correct this error in His
Time.

I could not find the Preventing SSM in Australia page if you know of something contained there with substantive reason
or harmony with the Sacred Deposit of Faith to show the mythical “homosexual person” is real, please post that here.
