Hi there Catholic Answers friends!
I am currently studying in college, and I have spent the past couple years living in the dorms. For this year, I am feeling called to live in our Newman Center’s Lady of Guadalupe House. The only issue is getting to live in this home this year is going to be on a competitive basis, and that makes me a bit nervous.
But I trust God will work things out the way he wants, and I know prayers never hurt!
There are many reasons I wish to live there–it would be financial relief, it would allow me to become even more involved with the Catholic community on campus, among other reasons. I am worried about my living situation for next year because the dorms are very expensive, but I’m not so sure I’m willing to move off campus with my current roommate because our moral paths have slowly began diverting over the past year, and the apartments we have been looking at are so far from campus and Newman anyways. I have grown so much closer to the Newman community this year, and I would love for this growth to continue in my final two years at this college.
And so I would greatly appreciate any prayers you could offer that I may get accepted to live in the Guadalupe House.
Thank you, as always. Your prayers have helped so much in the past, and I trust as always for God’s will to be done now!
