I have the 4 gospels
Are these based on the NAB?
Does anyone have an opinion on them?
I also have Ignatius Gospel of Mark

I once asked someone from Catholic Answers about the Collegeville commentaries and without giving details they said that they could not recommend them. You might want to address this question to one of their apologists and get a more detailed answer.
 
The Collegeville commentaries have a modernist, anti-supernatural approach of the type that tends to suck the life out of Scripture. In addition, one of the few I do own (John’s Gospel) resorts to retelling the story in a contemporary “You are there” type of format to try and make it, I suppose, more “real” to the reader. It kind of goes downhill from that.

Stick with Ignatius, Navarre, or even the Haydock.
