BOGOTA, Colombia – Police searching couriered packages for contraband made a chilling discovery on Wednesday: three human fetuses wrapped in plastic and concealed inside porcelain statues of Christian saints.
Colombia’s anti-narcotics police chief, Gen. Jorge Baron, said the 4- to 5-month-old fetuses were found at Bogota’s international airport, inside a cardboard box alongside crucifixes. The package was being sent from Colombia’s northern city of Barranquilla and was destined for Miami, apparently for use in satanic rituals, he said.
