Colonialists did on Eastern churches

Colonialists such as Portuguese, Dutch, French, British invaded the lands of middle east and Asia beginning from 14th century. I want to know what they have done on the eastern orthodox and oriental orthodox churches in these places.

You are asking about the interaction of multiple Eastern Churches, in various vastly different regions, under various political and social circumstances, interactions with multiple and numerous Western countries and their missions/politics/etc, including the circumstances with each respective Church, along with their interactions with others, in a span of 600+ years - why don’t you narrow your question so that we can know where to start? This topic can be divided into 15 separate threads… to ask any one to answer it all is impossible - I don’t even know where to begin!!
