Coming Down the Mountain by Hart-alternatives?

Has anyone read Coming Down the Mountain?
My husband was given this book following a Catholic retreat. It has some subject material that does not follow Catholic teaching. Does anyone have literature suggestions that one can read following this experience?
I know that Cursillo has a follow-up. Is there anything else available?

I responded to your post in another thread by suggesting you get a book that focuses on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

For a group I would read one of the books posted about in the other thread, but for you personally how about St Francis De Sales.
(definitely didn’t write semi-heretical stuff and wont destroy your faith)

Right here

You can use that other book to start a fire, to warm your toes as you lean back and read this book.
