I would move.
My daughter lived in San Diego for several years and loved it, but she moved. So expensive out there.
I don’t understand why anyone other than entertainment professionals lives in California. Weather, schmeather!–sure we’re cold here in Illinois, but that’s what coats and blankets are for. And rescue missions and shelters. And as poor as our city is (double digit unemployment), I have yet to see human feces in our city streets.
I thought California is leading the way when it comes to “greenness.” I’m surprised that more people aren’t living off the power grid and utilizing all the “green” methods of providing themselves with light, heat, AC, cooking, transportation, etc.
I’m not just being sarcastic. I’m honestly surprised. Even in our city in Northern Illinois, we have plenty of people who are living with wind generators, solar panels, bikes, waterless toilets, and other “green” systems that provide them with heat, light, transportation, etc.
I’ll bet the electric car industry has crossed California off its target marketing strategy!
