How is your Parish communicating the directives from your Bishop?

Our parish has sent out automated calls to all parishioners.

Frequent eMail or Text to parishioners.

Facebook, Instagram for quick updates.

Streaming Mass on Facebook, YouTube and parish Webpage.

Answering the phones when people call.

Referring to the central resources page on the Diocese website listing all times for open churches, Adoration, Confession, Anointing, and Mass Streaming for the entire Diocese.

The official announcements from the Cardinal Archbishop are on the parish and Archdiocesan websites.

Both the Cardinal’s official Facebook page and my parish’s official Facebook page have been posting updates.

There have been various links provided to live streamed Masses (both from my Archdiocese and from other dioceses) on the parish website.

Mostly email.
Although people can also check the parish or diocesan website.

We just got a mailing today with updates on when the church is opening for ten people at a time, and 2 pages of some lovely thoughts from our pastor, and a page of prayers. He asked for everyone to email their email address so they can communicate that way instead of by snail mail.

It was like getting a letter from home and really brightened my day. 🙂
