Once again, proponents of “assisted suicide” / euthanasia are pushing their agenda. We see it in the states, and now there’s a bill before the Canadian legislature as well. The Church in Canada has voiced opposition to this eloquently - see acts17verse28.blogspot.com/2009/08/is-it-compassion-or-killing.html. Also included there is a quote from our beloved Pope John Paul II.
Supporters of abortion and “mercy killing” must realize on some level that they are not on solid moral ground, because they disguise what they’re espousing by assigning words to “pretty it up”. Death with dignity? Killing the sick and elderly. Pro-choice? Killing the unborn.
