Why do I have writer’s block? Why can’t I sleep? Why is it so hot?
 
Lessee.
  1. You have writers block because of lack of sleep.
  2. You can’t sleep because it’s too hot.
  3. It’s hot from a combination of the contentious threads in world news forum, and/or all the hot air in Washington.
By the way, I understand that those are the major factors causing global warming too.

So can any other one if I’m the one posting. Not sure what it is about me that seems to set people off. Maybe they don’t like insomniac writers.

Heated discussion doesn’t bother me, although that’s not why I am here. What annoys me is responding/attacking the poster instead of the topic. Poor argumentation. Oh, well, back to complaining.

Why do so many people go through life looking for something to be offended by?

What did Dorian have to stay so strong for so long? Why is another system potentially targeting the Bahamas? Why didn’t we build better houses in Florida??? Uggh

I know that I started off this thread by stating that I had writer’s block, well I was watching YouTube and studying French verb conjugations, and taking notes, and now my wrist and my hand really hurts. Maybe the writer’s block was not such a bad thing.

I’m complaining, because I for the life of me I haven’t figured out what’s wrong with thinking that Catholics should read the Bible on a Catholic forum. I think we’re living in odd times.
 
I was actually wondering why, even though South Carolina gets more tornadoes than a lot of other states, although nowhere near the highest, why basements aren’t very common here. I thought it might have something to do with the soil, turns out people just don’t want to pay for a basement.
 
My son’s in Oklahoma and basements aren’t common there either. His house has a shelter built in the garage floor. Guess I’m complaining that he moves to places with high risk of injury; from being attacked by bears or trampled by moose to getting hit by a tornado.

We learn something new every day. I did not know that SC had tornadoes.

I love SC. This summer, I had a great time in Clemson and driving through the Cherokee Foothills up to the Asheville, NC area. Also took a jaunt on the East Coast and stopped by Parris Island.
