Concept of a Religious Plate
An Elaboration from the Sound of Silent
“Religion(s) is/are a plate, but not a cup.” This statement refers to a simple concept that may unite all religions. Below are my elaborations.
We have two pillars in Catholic Churches: the Pillar of Truth and the Pillar of Fire.
(1) The Pillar of Truth refers to philosophy. The definition of philosophy varies. To be more specific, it refers to the philosophy of religions, sciences and history. They are different, but one. They are the doorway to truth. Truth is always one.
(2) The actual meaning of the Pillar of Fire is not war, but hope. It should be named after “the Pillar of Hope”. The diversification of religions tears the plate of religions apart. In fact, it has never been broken. The Pillar of Hope (Protestants and Muslims) rises up as our last hope. They are rebellions and will become the hope of our future if the ken-chur arrived.
(3) There is one missing out of three. The Pillar of Love consists of Christianity and Orthodoxy.
“Love is now, hope will be our future. When Love is dying, hope will help. Love will never destroy hope. They are different, but one.” Buddhism and Shinto are mental states. The plate is religion(s) and the Pillar(s) is the key.
Supplementary Notes:
(1) There is a hint from the Bible. Chapters are written according to time.
(2) Time is linear and infinity does not exist.
(3) Souls can exist if love is in your heart.
(4) Sound cannot be silent, but silence itself is a sound.
(5) When light is on, Dark off.
I think philosophers with religious beliefs may interest in this new concept. Please feel free to give us some inspirations.
