Hello,
Can anyone tell me if they’ve actually conceived during the 3 days following the peak fertile day of your cycle? I know it’s possible to do so, but I’m curious how likely it is or how often it happens. Thanks!

The old wives tale says that that’s when you’re most likely to wind up with a boy… 😉

Can’t say I recall what day of the cycle the kids were conceived. Man brain… My wife would probably know!

It might be that there was a phantom rise caused by illness or some other similar thing, so waiting later gives you more assurance that it was actually ovulation. One of my last pregnancies, I had a phantom rise.

I’m also the poster girl for “why yes, you can get pregnant from ovulation 7 days later.”

All part of the learning experience.

My last 2 pregnancies were post peak. The first was on day 3 and we knew it was a possibility. The second we were using Marquette and the Clearblue fertility monitor. I conceived on Day 4 post peak, which should have been a “safe” day. Ironically, both of those pregnancies were boys!!!🤷

Thanks for your (name removed by moderator)ut! We’ll see what God has in store for us! 🙂
