There was Confession earlier in the day and I missed it. I want to schedule a Confession before 730 mass tonight, its 330 right now. Will this be possible? If it is I do I go through doing this? Will it have to be face to face?
Thank you for answering my previous question on the Rosary.

You would have to call your parish and ask. Right now I would think that your pastor is either visiting the shut-ins or taking a nap. It’s going to be a LONG night for him.

Unfortunately, I would imagine that you would not be able to schedule a confession for today. The priest would be very busy getting ready for Easter Vigil. Not that you couldn’t call and ask, but don’t be disappointed if the priest says he’s too busy. Our church is not having the usual 4:00 PM confession today due to Easter Vigil. You might see if you can find a church that has more than one priest - we only have one. He made sure everyone knew that he would NOT being doing confessions today due to preparations for Easter Vigil. Good luck!

we had extra confession times all last week and this week, as did all surrounding parishes, because there are no confessions from Thursday onward. You can’t get through to our pastor because the switchboard is closed until Tuesday, so good luck, but if you do find him today he will probably be getting ready for the Vigil. A priest is supposed to hear the confession of anyone who asks but buttonholing him as the most important celebration of the year is about to start is really putting him on the spot. Ours would do it if at all possible, but if Mass was beginning, would ask you to come back after Mass, and he would wait for you no matter how late it is. Of course confession would be face to face, unless he has time to open up the confessional, which is doubtful, because there is a table in front of it for the blessing of the Easter bread and foods.
