To put it bluntly, I’ve been overcome by the vice of pornography and it just so happened that someone else was watching it as well via a live skype call. So I not only sinned on my own but also exposed someone else to this, thus, extending the damage of the offense. How would you best summarize this in the context of a confession? I want to say this in shortest possible amount of words.

I think saying what you just said would do it… just explain it to the priest and get his advice. Obviously do t do this kind of thing anymore .

“I viewed pornography (X) times and also exposed another person to pornographic material on (X) occasions”

Maybe something like that?

Would “I’ve engaged in acts and thoughts of impurity and also exposed others to them.” suffice? I genuinely hate the fact that I did this, so I don’t rejoice in having to say this out loud.

If it’s porn, just say porn. No point in using euphemisms. And you described it pretty succinctly.

This.

You don’t need to spout off all the details. This is what I did, x amount of times.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner.

Acts of impurity could be variable between different people. Porn? Masturbation? Sexting? Flirting? Fantasizing?

It’s best to just say it like it is.
