Confession for disabled can she text?

Hello,
My sister had a severe stroke. She is 35 and can no longer walk or drive. Her and I were talking about confession. As my mother took her to a very remote part of Montana, she cannot get to church as my mother will not take her. My sister wants to know if there is anyway to do confession by texting a Priest. It is weighing heavy on her head and because I am an 18 hour drive, it is impossible for me to take her… Please tell me how I can help her.

No, she cannot text her confession. The sacraments require human interaction. I’m sure there’s a priest who is responsible for the area in which your sister lives. Perhaps you could contact the diocese where she lives and arrange for a priest to visit your sister.
