I’m not sure if this topic has already been discussed since I’m fairly new but I’m wondering if my way of Confessing today is acceptable. The Father at my local Church was not accepting Confession appointments throughout the last couple of weeks and I felt the need to confess before I start my first day of my 2nd year in college tomorrow. The actual Confession day is on Saturdays but I didn’t think I could wait until then so I went to Church today for a little over an hour and prayed, read a Confession letter I had ready for a long time to God, read a little of the Bible and hung around for a little bit just thinking and doing some more praying. Is it fine for me to have Confessed my sins directly to God or should I still go on Saturday and Confess to a Father?
