I would like to go more often, but have trouble finding a priest who is available. At the parish closest to home, the priest often double-books. The bulletin says Confessions are from 3:30-4:15 on Saturdays, but Father often does a couple of baptisms then too, leaving fifteen or twenty minutes for Confessions. At the next closest parish, about thiry miles away, there was no Confession scheduled for any Saturday in August except the first one. There was no Confession scheduled for the Saturday after Easter (prior to Divine Mercy Sunday.) I am new to this city so will have to search further.

I voted once per month. However, it’s really closer to once every 2-3 weeks.

There is already a poll about this. Two, in fact. Did we really need a third?

I officially go about once a year, but I tend to confess directly to God more and more these days. I like the fact that I can be honest straight to God, and even though I know a priest is bound to not speak of what I tell him, I feel more secure in knowing that God won’t socially judge me the way a human would.

I can’t seem to stay out of trouble for more than a week at a time. My record is two weeks–but even then, I went to Confession after the first week in preparation for First Friday/First Saturday devotions. Although, now, I’m becoming much more aware of my venial self-indulgences, so I’ll still have plenty to confess, even if I stay out of trouble.

I wanted “other”. As I now go before I lector. This month I will go twice normally I read once a month so then it would be once a month. The thought of reading without going to confession scares me.

I have never attended confession well because I am getting into a Catholic church besides watching it on TV and so I dont know anything about confession. If someone could help me learn about confession I would love to learn about confession.

I didn’t vote because I go bi-weekly (there wasn’t an option for it).
