I was wondering could I go to confession this weekend, I went last Wednesday for Holy Week but I want to go again for Divine Mercy Sunday can I do this if it’s only a week since I last went? Will the priest say something to me? Thanks
 
Yes you can go? You can go everyday if you want. I used to struggle with a particular sin and sometimes would have to go to confession twice a week.
 
Yes, of course you can go and should go if you need to, but as long as you are in a state of grace you don’t need to go to again if you are trying for an indulgence for DMS.

If you are worried about the Priest saying something to you, is it because of scrupulosity?

Yes I do have OCD/scrupulosity it is possibly a fear because of that.

(Weekly confession is normally a good practice.)

Now if your regular confessor has -due to those difficulties you mentioned - given you a particular direction in this regard - discuss with him. But it seems that is not the case.

If you do not have a regular confessor…obtain one ASAP

Even if though one has a regular confessor who has told you something specific in terms of frequency…it is likely Divine Mercy Sunday could be in his view an exception. Talk with him.
 
PS:I assume your regular confessor has not told you not to go weekly etc so – do not scruple over going.
 
Bookcat is wise. Unless your priest has told you not to go to confession often because of scrupulosity you should be fine.

I go to confession every week. Once I went twice in two days, but that was a great exception and probably never to be repeated. Even then the priest didn’t ‘say anything.’
