Confession

As a convert I simply do not understand that there are Catholics in the world, fully initiated into the sacraments, who don’t take advantage of every opportunity for grace to fill them. I simply don’t understand it.

I felt this way for a bit till I told myself, how do I know that no one goes to confession. They might go at a different time; or a different parish or make appointments. My parish has confession twice a week and sometimes those days and times don’t work for me; so I go to other parishes some are up to 20 mile away. I find by doing this way I can find confession almost everyday of the week someplace. I am in the south; we have pretty small parishes, sometimes I find no one in line at all…I always like that as I don’t have to wait then. And there are certain days where the lines are long; especially Saturdays. I wish you the best.
