Confirm or Refute?

In my quest for Truth and an ability to defend said Truth, I considered purchasing ‘Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma’ by Dr. Ludwig Ott. Whilst perusing articles about said book; among a see of glowing references stood a rather less favourable one. I read the article, and it claims that translation from German into English saw many mistranslations, but not having the German Translation at hand, the person basically cross reference against the French translation and quoted differences.
The point of my thread being; can anyone confirm or refute this claim?

I confirm that I have seen said complaint. I also confirm that Ott in the English is very useful in questing about for the Truth and for the ability to defend It reasonably. I deny that I can answer what you want to know.

Thank you so very much for your links; the first of which, helped immeasurably.

Despite the errors, I am going to purchase the book, as I feel the pro’s far outweigh the con’s in this particualar case.
