Confirmation during Lent?

I found out that one of my best friends is getting confirmed tommorrow (wednesday) and was wondering if that is ok. I didn’t think confirmations happened until after Easter and I didnt think they could happen during Lent or on a Wednesday

is there a rule on this?

No rule, usually it’s when the bishop can make it to your parish.

Our parish has confirmation on April 1st. The only difference is that the bishop will be wearing purple.
