Is a Roman Catholic required to sign his Confirmation name when non-religious paperwork asks for his name in full?
No. Though some Catholics actually do not have a different Confirmation name. Some were Confirmed using their first or middle names. Is a Roman Catholic required to sign his Confirmation name when non-religious paperwork asks for his name in full?
No, unless you yourself change the name via civil law, e.g. by deed poll.Is a Roman Catholic required to sign his Confirmation name when non-religious paperwork asks for his name in full?
I’m wanting to have Teresa-Ann; I hope I canI don’t know for sure, but would imagine that you can if they are both Saint names. Like: John Paul, Sts Peter-Paul, etc

If you were named after a saint, then you should be able to select your own name. Unless the Parish forces you to select another for one reason or another.I am hoping to be confirmed in a few months and am not looking forward to having to choose a confirmation name. It feels like I am rejecting my family. I already was given a saint’s name at birth anyway.
