I wasn’t really sure where to put this question so I decided since I saw RCIA on the label that I would try here first. I just had my annulment granted with a prohibition of marriage counselling. I went through the RCIA last year but wasn’t confirmed due to my annulment still going on. Will I be able to be confirmed now even though I have this prohibition? I’m really anxious to be confirmed.

You should call up the parish to see how they want to handle your next step. The prohibition is regarding the sacrament of marriage only.

Yes… You have your decree of nullity… but to remarry you would have to go through counseling… btw… they usually have you go for 3 sessions or so just to see if the impediment that caused your marriage to be annulled has been dealt with.

The prohibition most likely is a requirement for seeking another Marriage. As long as you are single and not living with anyone, this is not a problem.
