Confirmation without RCIA?

I am now wondering what to do. I am thinking about talking to a priest I know and discuss the possibility to receive this sacrament on my anniversary which is May the 5th. I hope it will be this year. If not, there goes another year with studying the same things over.

Any comment or suggestion?

Talk to your pastor and see what he suggests.

It sounds to me like you’ve already been prepared for the sacrament and should have received it. Perhaps when the bishop is doing confirmations in your parish he could confirm you as well.

If your previous preparation isn’t sufficient, perhaps there is an adult confirmation class available to you.
