This Sunday I will attend a 6PM Mass for new candidates that are going to receive Confirmation next year.
Will this Mass count as my Sunday obligation, or do I have to attend Mass that Sunday morning or Saturday evening?

I think that this will count. Some churches have Sun. evening Masses. The key is the readings. If the regular Sunday readings are used. This is a regular Sunday Mass. May God bless you for your faith.

Thanks for the imformation. While I’m at it I have a question.
A person does not have to be of the “age of reason” to be Baptized, but must be of the “age of reason” to receive confirmation. Why is this?
