Confusion over sin of the Holy Spirit

One of the nurses I work with comes from the Philippines I think. I was pretty shocked when I heard her take the name of the Holy Spirit in vain when things went wrong or became awkward.

if i was judged by what comes out of my mouth when i am upset, I’d be facing eternal Hell…

but my God is bigger than that. Blashphemy of the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with what comes out of a person’s mouth… except that in tht psg (Mt 12:32) we all see the manifestation of what could definitely BE that kind of unforgivable sin… and which is probably why Jesus is speaking on the subject…

Jesus is speaking of a hardness of heart that stems from a person, over an extended period of time, rejecting Jesus - over and over & over again… until he is so hardened he cannot receive Him anymore… cannot accept forgivenes…

it is not being forgiven (& purified) that is the sin that won’t be forgiven “in the age to come” (st Mt 12:32) All other sins can be dealt with in Purgatory (the age to come)…
