The consecration of Bishop-Elect Abdallah Elias Zaidan to the Maronite Eparchy of Los Angeles will be shown on EWTN from 3 to 5PM Eastern time today.

Small note of correction, he was ordained bishop. The episcopacy is the 7th order of ordination in the Syriac Church.

Actually I’d call it the 6th since none of the 3 Median Orders has ever been a prerequisite.

Mzamrono, Quroyo, Aphudyaqno, Mshamshono, Arshe-deqon, Kahno, khor-episkopous, episkopous.

There are three minors, which you have correct. And three Majors which you also have correct. Then there are three Medians. Although I would call the first Rish-Mshamshono (or Arkh-Diacon if one insists on using the Hellenic form – and I don’t), but you missed the next one: Bardiyoutho. 😛 Total = 9, symbolic of the nine choirs of angels. 😉

Bardiyoutho??? Expand please!

It’s the Syriac form of the Greek work “periodute” which and these days it’s essentially an honorific, of lower rank than chor-episcopus. Originally there were certain duties attached to the office. A periodute was a representative of the bishop who went from place to place, and is allowed use of crozier on certain occasions. Have look Canon LVII here.
