Consecration to Immuculate Heart of Mary and Brown Scapular enrollment

I made the consecration to Virgin Mary and enrolled in the Brown Scapular by the priest yesterday (25 Mar - Day of Consecration). I made this because I love Mary and want to belong to Her, and I sometimes wore brown scapular but did not have chance for enrollment before. Now I have a few questions:

1. What is the real meaning of total consecration to Mary? Does it mean that we do not need to worry about anything in our daily life from now on and put ourselves in the hand of Mary, neglect our own desire/free will but only pray and Mary will totally guide us on everything?
2. Does it affect your vocation?
3. For those who have consecrated to Virgin Mary, is there any difference in your daily life? e.g. experience more graces from Mary, prayer is more powerful by Mary’s intercession…?
4. How do we live the life after consecrated to Virgin Mary? because I also pray every day, pray Rosary sometimes and asked Mary for help before.
5. Did you encounter anything special like more graces or miracles with the Brown Scapular? Do you always wear the brown scapular even going out and at work?
