Considering studying theology

I’m currently considering studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology online. I sent an application away recently, and still haven’t received a reply. I’m getting rather worried that the college to which I’ve applied hasn’t accepted my application. I’m also doing one unit through distance to help me with undergraduate study (nothing to do with the Theology degree, just using it as a primer for academic study as I’m a mature-aged student).

Which one Matt? Open uni Australia has some of the ACU Theology degrees available online now. Others require attendance for some units

I checked Open Uni, but ACU only specialise in postgrad. though Open Uni. The unit I’m doing is Academic Learning Skills. That’s through Murdoch, in Western Australia. I’ve sent away to do an online theology degree at the Australian College of Christian Studies in Miranda NSW. They’re an accredited college associated with the Sydney College of Divinity.

Prayer While Waiting For News

Lord, my mind is racing with possibilities as I wait for news of my application. Quiet my mind and lessen my anxiety during this time of waiting. I turn this situation over to Your care, confident that You will bring a quick and positive result according to Your will. Amen.

Best of luck. The Uni year just started a couple of weeks ago. Might pay to phone and follow up.

Hi. I took your advice, and rang the college today at lunch-time, and their registrar has contacted me via email asking me for my phone number in order to have a chat to me about the course. They’re starting me in May (which is a significant month for me, because I have a particular devotion to Our Lady).
