I came across a very interesting article that I think really explains well what I often try to get across on health care debates. Better yet it’s from a clearly non-political pro-consumer source.

In the end, no matter what your political opinion, you are a consumer of health care. Our focus shouldn’t be the amount of money we do or don’t subsidize at a federal level, but what health care costs. As noted in the article and from many other sources we spend way too much for mediocre care.
