It has been several weeks since I have posted, and again, I want to deeply thank all those who have prayed for me. What a great gift and blessing it is to have such a faith-filled group of individuals on this board to help us through our struggles. I want you to know that you are in my prayers each night.

It has been a great experience to see the comfort and mercy that the Lord has shown me these last several months. The peace that I have felt is so unbelievable. I pray that everyone will be able to experience His love and great mercy.

However, I ask for your continued prayers for my job and healing my marriage. My job is still at great peril, and now that I am approaching mid-50’s, my job search has been very frustrating and fruitless. I pray that I am able to keep my current position of nearly 12 years, but that if that is not His Will, that I will soon find something suitable for me to support my wife and children.

I also ask for your prayers to keep me driven in my personal prayer life. Too often once things “calm down” for us we lose the drive and intensity of prayer. I too am seeing a little sign of that in my life and ask for your help in keeping me intense in my prayer and focused on the Lord.

Dear Lord I ask Your to bless and heal Bruce’s marriage, to ensure that it is an authentic, joyful Christian marriage.

Please, if possible, grant that Bruce is able to keep his current position but that if that is not possible, please help him to find suitable work to support his wife and children.

Please deepen Bruce’s personal prayer life and lead Him ever closer to You, Lord.

Dear Lord, please keep nebrb fervently on fire with love for you. Let his/her prayer life be strong always. Should he/she go through a dry time, let him/her know this is normal in the spiritual life. And yes Lord, when all is abundant, it can be easy to pray less fervently, but still I know you love our prayers just the same. Help nebrb keep his/her job. If it is your will he/she get another job, please let the new job give even better spiritual fruits than the first. I ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

And I will take you, nebrb, and your petitions with me daily to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
 
MOST ADMIRABLE MOTHER: MATER ADMIRABILIS

Most Admirable Mother, you show your children the way to interior progress, as we look at you, fill us with a sacred desire: to enter into that world of love and grace where you live.

Who else, can show us that interior life? Who else can open us up to Jesus’s life and form in us his divine features?

Oh Mother! let us look at you:

Silent Virgin, help us to live that silence which enables us to receive and maintain the presence of God, amid the noise and tumult of everyday life. Reinforce in us, Mother, a silent serenity and guide us to preserve our heart, every minute, as the home of Jesus.

Humble Virgin, teach us in this world of pride that humility which excludes all pretension, wants to be docile, serve and disappear. Your humility ascended to God and conquered his Heart, let ours incline his heart towards us.

Faithful Virgin, you always responded to every desire of God without the slightest hesitation between the call of Grace and your response. Help us to imitate you, in the readiness of love and enthusiasm full of faith in order to do his will. That difficulties may never stop us, and with God’s gift of joy we may respond to any of his requests with your own answer: “I am the servant of the Lord”.

Most Admirable Mother, pray for us in this banishment on earth and show us to Jesus, blessed fruit of your womb! Amen.
