I am throwing this out to to get some ideas from forum friends:
Me and six other guys in my parish are going through the Exodus 90 program.
We are coming towards the end of our 90-day program & I’d like to propose some options to the group for continuing indefinitely a spiritual program/movement, as we like the community that has come from this time together.
Our small group is made up of seven men- we range in age, five of us are in our 40’s, one is in his early 30’s, and the other (our perm. Deacon) is in his late fifties.
Ideally I’d like to propose something (movement/program/organization) that already exists, with a formation apparatus, deepen the spiritual life, something readily available (we’re in Mississippi- not many Catholics), something ongoing. I’ve proposed the idea of a third order, but am interested in what others, on this board, have invested in and what has brought fruit to bear. I would prefer to avoid any program/movement/organization that has any baggage or controversy i.e. Regnum Christi or Neo Catecumenal Way (I mean no harm I know there are positive fruits from both- I just don’t want any of the guys in our group to hop on google and see that “such-n-such” group is in big trouble or too controversial…and causes our group to split or lose heart), obviously an organization that is loyal to the Magisterium. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
