Not according to the Church… the EF is absolutely NOT a more orthodox expression of Catholic doctrine. I recommend giving
Summorum Pontificum a read to get Pope Benedict’s thoughts on the matter and the truth.
Second, the word orthodox is not synonymous with the word traditional. The word orthodox means ‘right belief’ and traditon is not always right. Too often that mistake is made.
